Kellogg Community Implementation Grant Award to SkillsUSA Virginia Chapter!

Congratulations to SkillsUSA Virginia ASTRACOR chapter for being selected to receive a SkillsUSA/Kellogg Community Implementation Grant. They will receive $60,800 for two years. The SkillsUSA/Kellogg Community Implementation grant's purpose is targeted to impact programs in specific areas such as health, food systems and rural development, youth and education, and philanthropy and voluntarism. Within these areas, attention is given to exploring learning opportunities in leadership, information and communication technology, capitalizing on diversity, and social and economic community development.
ASTRACOR is a new SkillsUSA Virginia Chapter this year and is a non-traditional WIA approved post-secondary training program whose target population is almost 100% economically impacted minorities. |
