Hello Virgina,
My name is Marissa Robinson and I am the Region 3 State Vice President. I am currently a senior at Greensville County High School. Class of 2010!!!! My year so far as a state officer has been great! We’ve spent many sleepless nights preparing for presentations and studying for our Statesman Award. I felt like giving up at times but after looking around at the State Officer team, I realized that I was apart of something much greater than myself. We have shared so many fun times together. From doing the stanky leg, getting hype off of energy drinks, and throwing ice at each other, we have had some hilarious moments that I will never forget. Not only have I had fun but I’ve learned how to become a better leader as well. Our State Officer trainers have taught us so much, that I think I’m actually ready to conquer the WORLD!!!I know that my experiences this year will prepare me for life in the professional world, and I hope that SkillsUSA will do the same for you. I truly look forward to working with you all this year to make SkillsUSA a stronger organization!
